Simple well-being… Simple relaxation…
The smell of freshly cut grass, the aroma of fresh hay, the joyful song of the birds, the rushing stream, the crackling wood-burning oven, the rustic stube: these are sensory impressions that many people no longer get to experience. Looking out from your balcony, beneath the pergola, sitting next to the stream, you will be able to admire and enjoy nature. Your gaze is free to stray and to capture the essence, while worries and the weight of every day life slip away.

Owner of the family farmstead
He is dedicated to looking after the Zwiglhof farmstead crops, and passionately takes care of our guests. He collaborated every day in rebuilding our home, making sure that work continued on schedule, and he managed the entire construction site! In addition to the agricultural activities, Michael is also responsible for the warm room environment (heating systems), the electrical system and all technical systems at the Alpine Resort. And if you want to lend a hand in the stables, he will always welcome you!

What characterises our home is the peculiar traits that only a family-run business can offer:

The history of the farmstead
The farmstead has been the property of our family for more than 200 years, and that is also why we call it a “family farmstead”. Grandpa Alois and his wife Theresia managed a livestock farm.
- 11979 Michael is born
- 1981 Anna is born
- 1982 Karl is born
- 1985 Heinrich is born
- 2000 Michael takes over the management of the farmstead – a breath of fresh air, a new will to do, now comes to Zwiglhof
- 2001 the stable is rebuilt on the west side
- 2005 the back side of the house is demolished and rebuilt
- 2007 two rooms are created for guests, in addition to a holiday apartment and Michael’s private home
- 2007 Michael and Angelika are married in October
- 2007 at Christmas time, they welcome their first guests at Zwiglhof
- 2009 Leo is born
- 2011 Sophie is born
- 2016 on 19 January, our home is completely destroyed by fire
- 2016-2017 we work on rebuilding
- 2017 in June, we will be able to welcome our new guests to Zwiglhof
- 2018 our natural swimming pool can be used
- 2020 at January died our dear grandfather Alois unexpected
- 2022 our PV-system (100kw) including storage batteries has been running since october – so we are completely energy self-sufficient.
