Sustainability
Since Michael took over the farm, the sustainable and respectful use of natural resources has been very important to us. With our combined heat and power plant, operational since December 2012, we produce 90 kW of electricity and 220 kW of heat completely CO2-neutral.
The wood for this largely comes from our own forest and from surrounding farms. In case of high heat demand, we also have a wood chip heating system that can be activated. By cultivating our meadows and forests without chemical additives, we make a continuous contribution to preserving biodiversity.
Since October 2022, our 100 kW PV system, including storage batteries, has also been operational – making us completely energy self-sufficient.
Bioland
(ITBio013)
Driven by our philosophy, we have been managing our farm organically for years. We use no chemical fertilizers, feeding our animals exclusively hay from our own meadows and grain from the Merano Mill.
Furthermore, from approximately late March to early November (weather permitting), our animals are free to choose their whereabouts between the barn and the pasture.
Covered Parking
All our parking spaces are conveniently located directly at the entrance and are covered.
Electric Charging Station
Naturally, at our farm, you also have the option to charge your electric car at our 22 kW charging station.
